This is totally a first attempt. I’ve never had a spinach omelet before, neither have I had the urge to make one prior to this morning. I almost ordered breakfast and while looking through the menu, their Mediterranean omelet caught my eye; theirs has fresh spinach, tomatoes and feta cheese (along with the eggs of course). Got extra bread laying around the house that’s going stale and you’re not quite ready to throw away because you got it at that 2 for $4 sale??? Don’t throw it away, make bread pudding!
Bread pudding used to be called the poor man’s dessert, because in the times before ours, it called for making use of stale bread to which sugar, spices and other ingredients were added. Forward to our time and the art of making bread pudding has become more sophisticated, calling for more additions than just sugar and spices.
