To participate, all you need do is send clear photos of your finished dish, name of the AvartsyCooking recipe you followed and a little back story behind your making the dish to email@example.com
Below is information surrounding his dish!
Name: Ayodeji O.
Dish re-created: Beanless Chili
I did my take on your bean less chilli BUT I made mine with some red kidney beans (beans are actually my favourite food – very odd as a lot of people say to me; well the nigerian (?) ones. Anyway, I haven’t really tried out the different varieties of beans out there on the market). When I read the page on your beanless chilli, it brought to memory a chilli con carne so I soaked some red kidney beans overnight then boiled them and sort of mixed all the other ingredients together to make this basic dish.
My friend says my presentation skills are in dire need of improvement as it doesn’t quite match the fine dining standards (whatever they are) LOL. one step at a time.
Here’s the result.
Take care and as ALWAYS thanks so much for your website.
God bless ;)”
I love when readers modify and own any of the recipes on the site. It’s truly what cooking is about! Kudos to you, the beans and boiled eggs though, alright now, windows wide open on that one ;)
Whole grain rice it seems and veggies, good deal. Looking at the first photo in retrospect since the submission, whenever I now see corn, I immediately think “GMO CORN!” Most corn nowadays is genetically modified using carcinogen (cancer-causing) chemicals, Debbie Downer (someone who says something depressing), I know, but it’s the truth. So, take the corn away and we’ll be good :)
Presentation skills can always be worked on, in due time…
Thanks for the submission!
