My Week In Food, Vol., #005

January 6, 2013 | 6 Comments

My Week In Food is a series that will showcase some or all of the food I cooked and/or ate throughout the week. You’re welcome to submit your week in food photos as well, just email them to submit@avartsycooking.com

These photos are from before the holidays last year, sometime after Thanksgiving I believe.

Efo Riro, using turkey and goat meat.

Fresh Tilapia Stewtilapia stew

Had Plantain Fufu for the first time with Efo Riro and Turkey Stew. Plantain fufu is a bit bland, but it might just take getting used to, I think I was expecting a hint of plantain taste, lol #disappointedplantain fufu.efo.turkey stew

Just wanted to say how much I adore your blog. Being away at school, I rarely get to eat Nigerian food. Seeing as I can’t cook it i’m always looking for recipes and your blog is amazing. Cant wait to try all your recipes :)

      Hey Rose!

Aww, thank you, I appreciate it! You can always improvise for some of the ingredients, especially if you don’t have an African store around you. Keep me posted once you start trying out some of the recipes :)

I thank God for this blog. I do love good food but m unable to come up with ideas on variety of dishes to cook.
i always wonder if i would satisfy my husband to be and unborn kids with good food. This blog would literally be my go to guide on new dishes to try and and how to cook em. God bless you dear. You are now my best friend.
