Recipe Makeovers? {POLL}
I’ve received a couple of emails asking me to makeover/re-do some older recipes so they can be step-by-step and as informative as the more recent ones. It’s something I’ve given thought to in the past, I just didn’t want repeated recipes ya know.
However, if you feel it will be beneficial to you, I wouldn’t mind re-doing them. I’d love feedback from everyone else so I know which direction to go.
Also, if you’d like any recipes made over, please let me know which!

I know it all depends on what your readers want but you may consider creating videos instead of re-doing the recipes into step-by-step kind of posts. From my experience, no matter how ste-by-step you make the recipes, some people will still need to see the cooking in action. Due to popular demand, I recently started creating videos and I have had great feedback.
The videos also make it easier for me. There are some cooking actions that I just can’t find the right words to adequately describe. So the videos help me say all those inexpressable things. :)

I’ve had requests to start doing live videos, but I don’t think I’m ready for prime time yet, lol. I’m still considering it though ;)
I think you shouldn’t worry redoing them step by step only if they are complicated without them.I also believe that adding the calories per serving (as someone previously requested in another comment) in recipes would be a good idea if possible.I’m actually still waiting for the fish pie recipe almost 5 months :( hope to see it here soon.
I also forgot to say.That i will agree if you can tweak the recipes calling for specific ingredients like Goya adobo seasoning e.t.c (maybe giving a similar spice mix for those not able to get the goya or generally adobo seasoning for example) because it’s not easy sometimes to get specific brand or maybe a spice mix,cake mix e.t.c like this sometimes.
You know, someone just left a comment on the Meat Pie post, asking where they could find a specific brand of ingredient. It’s also a suggestion I’ve given thought to, if you notice, I haven’t used Adobo in any of the recent recipes, because people were emailing asking where they could get it. When I realized it was hard to come by, I started sticking to ingredients that are more readily available.

That’s what I was thinking too, to re-do mostly the ones that are a tad more complicated. The calories! I’m still working on it, haven’t forgotten about that, I’m researching the best way to gauge the caloric content.
Please don’t be mad! Fish pie HAS been on my list for a minute now, will get to it before the end of the month!
